Day 154

Tyler’s new fort! While Calvin was here Mike used his help to get a fort from the neighbor’s yard. It was a big deal and took the whole day to do it! But it was worth it, Tyler will love that fort as he grows older!

Day 153

Today we took Uncle Calvin and Tyler a local truck show. Calvin loves looking at trucks and Tyler did too! Tyler got to be a photographer, and used my camera to take pictures of all the trucks he liked!

Day 152

While Aunt Jess is here we have to make sure to get our haircut! She gives the best hair cuts and Tyler behaves so well for her. Kalen didn’t get her hair cut though, we are going to wait a little longer for that. :)

We took a day trip with Uncle Calvin and Aunt Jess to Chattanooga to visit the Tennessee Aquarium. It was so big and Tyler loved seeing all the fish and other wildlife! Kalen was content in her stroller and liked the butterfly house.

Girls Night!

Jess, Angie, and I went out to dinner and a movie. We went to Cantina Laredo and I loved it, one of my new favorite restaurants! It was so nice to get out with just the girls!

We spent Labor Day out on Lake Guntersville on the boat. It was cloudy at first, but then it turned nice and we got some swimming and skiing in.

Uncle Calvin and Aunt Jess got in town today to visit for a week. Aunt Jess put Kalen’s hair up for her…so cute!

Hailey will be leaving us at the end of the week. We have enjoyed having her since the beginning of the year, especially Tyler! I don’t know what he is going to do all day without someone to play with! I got some pictures of her so I could give them to her mom.

We went to the park with the Powell’s today. Hailey was giving Aspen and Kalen a puppet show!

Kalen turns 1 today! We had a “polka dot” party for her at the house.

Kalen’s done nursing. She will be turning one tomorrow so I have been weaning her these last few weeks. Tonight is the last time she will nurse and it makes me a little sad. Sad that my baby girl is growing up and won’t be my baby forever :(

Caleb had an “Incredible” birthday party today! We had fun celebrating with him.

Our little girl is growing up. She will be turning one in less than a week. Today she got her first little bit of milk.

A visit with Sarah. Hailey got a new puppy a week ago. She is the cutest thing and we babysat her today. Coco and Bailey had to check her out!

What a mess! The dishes sure do pile up…I think it’s because of the kids. It seems like we are running the dishwasher at least once a day!

Kalen loves her Seahorse. We turn it on for her before she goes to bed every night and at naptime. It plays music till she falls a sleep.

Swine Flu breakout in Huntsville. They have closed the schools and all the parks in the area. Looks like we are staying indoors for a little while!

Played outside today. We washed the cars. Kalen liked playing with a bucket of water, she kept slashing her tummy. Tyler loves his sand/water table that he got for his birthday!

We went to Panapoly downtown. They had a bunch of crafts for Tyler to do and had some stages set up too. Tyler didn’t want his face painted, so got his hands done instead!

The Elmore’s came over to play this morning. We were going to go to the park, but as we were leaving it started to rain. We just had fun playing inside instead.

Tyler spent this Saturday morning with Grandpa Bob. They went back to his house and ate breakfast and then went to watch Jordan row with his team at the river. Then they went to get some new fish for his fish tank. Tyler just loves spending time with his Grandpa!!

Cleaned the rugs today. I borrowed Yvonne’s carpet cleaner to clean Tyler’s room since he was sick a few days earlier. It was so easy and fast I ended up doing the whole house!

Had some guys drop by who wanted to take the old broken fridge out of our garage today! You know you need to clean out the garage when...people driving by see in and want to take your junk! ;) I have been trying to get that out of my garage for months now!

This little girl is keeping me busy! She learned how to climb the stairs and makes me nervous every time I catch her halfway up! I think her brother is encouraging her in the background.

We enjoyed a great Easter service at church this morning, followed by an Easter egg hunt in the backyard and dinner at Grandpa Bob and Grandma Angie’s house.

This morning we went over to the Elmore’s to dye Easter eggs. Kalen couldn’t do much, but she sure looked cute in those bunny ears!

Fun at the park! We are loving this beautiful weather and taking the opportunity to get the kids outside. Kalen loves to sit in the lady bug, and today Tyler and Hailey joined her.
