Day 63

Daddy reading Tyler and Kalen a book before bed. Tyler looks forward to this every night and we are starting to get Kalen into the routine too!

Day 62

We got new phones! They had some good rebates and we were available for an upgrade! Mike wanted a phone/pda in one so he didn’t have to carry both around. And I wanted something that I could keep a calendar on and have it sync with the computer. (Bonus- it’s even a touch screen!)

Day 61

Can’t go wrong with Play-Doh. They love to make Spaghetti and use the rolling pin.

Day 60

Today I worked on getting my 365 album all caught up. I love the way it is turning out!

Day 59

Chef Ty! The kids love playing kitchen. Tyler loves cooking me up some food, and making me some Sweet Tea!

Day 58

When we saw Dr. Jeff last week he said that Kalen can start eating table foods. Tonight we had pancakes for dinner so we gave her some too. She loved it!

Day 57

We went out to lunch with the Elmore’s after church! The girls were so cute sitting at the end of the table, and they were even sharing their food. Best friends in the making!

Day 56

Our first time eating Steak Out! Steak Out is a big thing with a lot of our friends down here. We had a gift certificate from Christmas, so we decided to see what the hype was all about! It was very good and they give you a ton of stuff! YUM!

Day 55

Tyler talking to Aunt Jess on the phone! Tyler loves talking on the phone and he has to walk around when he talks. Must get that from his mommy.

Day 54

After missing the last two sessions it felt great to get back to bible study with the girls!

Day 53

“Look a helapopter!! There’s bad guys in the helapopter…there coming to get us…ahhh!!” I don’t know where he got this! Maybe Incredibles or something. Anytime he sees a helicopter this is what he says over and over again followed by a lot of running around.

Day 52

I forgot to take my camera with me to the doctor’s office! Tyler had his 3yr old check up and Kalen had her 9 month. So when Tyler wanted to get up on Daddy’s ladder I thought, I’ll just make this my picture for today! Tyler wasn’t too sure about being up that high! Mike did finish mudding the ceiling…now we are ready for paint.

Day 51

Big Brother helping Kalen with her favorite toy! She get so excited when you pop the animals up, and then she pushes them all down so you can do it all over again.

Day 50

Family computer time. It was so cute, Mike and Kalen were at the computer then Tyler had to run and get his computer so he could check his email too!

Day 49

Valentine’s Day! We gave the kids a couple of small little things and had a nice day running some errands and relaxing.

Mike and I dropped the kids off at church for an early Valentine’s date. We went to Cafe Berlin. The food was wonderful! It was so nice to get a quiet dinner and spend some time with each other. We will definitely be going back!

Tyler was trying to take a picture of Mike and I and this is what he got. I thought it was fitting for today’s picture though…Kalen on my hip…that is where she has been all day!

I got some pictures of the kids for Valentine gifts. I tried to get one of the three of them, but Kalen was not havin it!

The weather was so nice the kids played outside all afternoon. Look at Kalen…she is such a Daddy’s girl!

Day 43

Grandpa Bob just got back from Korea and Japan. He came over with gifts that he brought back for us. Tyler got a dragon shirt, Kalen got a blankie, and Mike and I got a decorative plate.

Mike and I on our way out to dinner with the Solomon’s, Missionaries in town for the Conference at church this weekend.

Dinner at McDonalds!

Dad came home and said, “Let’s go to McDonalds for dinner tonight.” Well this is a big treat for us. We don’t typically do fast food and I think this was Tyler’s like 3rd time to McDonalds! I’ve been craving a Big Mac and it was good!

Day 38

Tyler has been waking up dry after bed and nap these past few days! Here he is showing off his lollipop that he got after nap time today! Here’s to hoping that potty training is almost over!

Kalen loves showing us “big girl.” She is just starting to eat some table foods. Today at lunch she ate some cut up bananas!

Day 36

Super Bowl Sunday. Mike and Tyler watched the game and I watched the commercials. We had some munchies too!
